Terms, Conditions & Policies Agreement


Please note: By signing up for or agreeing to any offering or service, you are confirming acceptance of the following terms and conditions.-----Booking & Commitment


General Bookings (1:1, Group, In-Person, Online):

  • All bookings are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • By booking, you confirm that you have understood the service you have signed up for and are aware of any potential contraindications regarding your personal health.

  • You will receive confirmation of your session booking within 1 working day.

  • No-shows will forfeit the session.

1:1 Services - Changes and Attendance:

  • You may change the time and date of your 1:1 session up to 24 hours prior to the initial booking time. Changes made less than 24 hours in advance will result in the loss of the session.

  • As the client, you are responsible for arriving on time. If you anticipate being late for any session (group or 1:1), you must communicate this promptly. Katie Sayles reserves the right to forfeit your session if this is not honoured.

1:1 Specific Booking Note:

  • Payment is required to confirm all 1:1 sessions.

  • Upon booking a 1:1 service, you acknowledge the self-commitment and responsibility required from you. You also confirm that you have disclosed any health contraindications to Katie Sayles via your application form, call, or intake form.

-----Financial Policy


Payment Policy:

  • Payment or a deposit is required to confirm any session. The session is not confirmed until payment has been made.

  • Payment plans for certain services may be available upon request. Please email hello@katiesayles.com to inquire.

Refund Policy:

  • If you, the Client, cancel your space on any session (group or 1:1), the session fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another service.

Late Payment Policy on Recurring Payments:

  • Recurring payments are due on the same day each month for the duration agreed upon in your Payment Plan Agreement, and are processed automatically via Stripe.

  • If the initial payment attempt fails, a second attempt will be made within 48 hours.

  • If the payment fails on the second attempt, the following late fees will be incurred, based on the monthly recurring amount:

    • Monthly Payments under £1000: £40 late fee.

    • Monthly Payments between £1000 and £9,999.99: £100 late fee.

    • Monthly Payments of £10,000 or more: £150 late fee.

  • Repeated late payments (including the first attempt failing) may result in an additional late fee based on the full amount owing, in addition to the fee for the late monthly payment.

  • Recurring late payments may lead to the cancellation of services without a refund and without the possibility of transferring any unused fees to another service.

-----Cancellation Policy


1:1 Coaching & Mentoring Services (6 or 12 Session Packages):

  • You are committed to the full package duration.

  • A cancellation clause is available only at the 2 session mark (for 6-session packages) or the 4 session mark (for 12-session packages).

  • This clause allows either party (you or Katie Sayles) to cancel the agreement if the working relationship is genuinely misaligned (e.g., disagreements, unprofessionalism, lack of commitment, poor behaviour). This is not intended as an escape clause for clients who are simply finding the work uncomfortable. A valid reason for contract breakage must be actioned.

  • If you cancel at the 2 or 4 session mark, a 2-week notice period is required, and full payment of the remaining 4 weeks (for the 6-session package) or 6 weeks (for the 12-session package) will be due. This payment must be settled either in full by the final session or through a pre-agreed payment plan that you are contracted to pay.

  • Advanced Payments (e.g., Payment in Full): The amount already taken is non-refundable. However, the unused session fee amount may be used on another service within 1 month of cancellation.

  • Recurring Payment Plans: A one-month notice period is required for the cancellation of your payment plan.

  • You retain access to the online library of practices from your time in the package.

  • Katie Sayles reserves the right to cancel a contract or session due to disrespectful behaviour. The above payment policy applies unless the behaviour is violent or unsafe, in which case Katie Sayles may terminate the contract immediately without notice and remove all rights to course materials.

Online Group Coaching Services:

  • A 1-month notice period is required for cancellation.

  • For clients with advanced payments (Payment in Full) or on a recurring payment plan, a one-month notice period is required for payment cancellation.

  • The fee already taken is non-refundable. However, the unused session fee amount may be used on another service within 1 month of cancellation.

  • You retain access to any course materials from your time together.

  • Katie Sayles has the right to cancel a contract or session due to disrespectful behaviour. The above policy applies unless the behaviour is violent or unsafe, in which case Katie Sayles may terminate the contract immediately without notice and remove all rights to course materials.

-----Conduct and Medical Disclaimer


Behaviour at In-Person or Online Events:

  • You are responsible for your conduct in any space or session with Katie Sayles. These are transformative spaces where emotional activation may occur. Katie Sayles is not responsible for rescuing you and will not tolerate disrespectful behaviour towards herself, other participants, or yourself.

  • Katie Sayles will issue one verbal warning before asking you to leave or cancelling a session if poor behaviour persists.

Medical Concerns:

  • Please notify us of any dietary requirements or medical details prior to your session/event.

  • Katie Sayles cannot and will not diagnose any ailments. If you have health concerns, please consult your GP.

-----Unexpected Circumstances


Events Outside of Katie Sayles’ Control:

  • Katie Sayles is not liable for circumstances such as Natural Disaster, War, Pandemic, Venue Failure, or other situations outside of her control.

  • Refunds will not be available.

  • Katie Sayles will attempt to arrange alternatives for in-person events where possible.

  • Fee transfers to other services may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
